Important roadworks information - A12 southbound junction 27 entry slip road – resurfacing
I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out resurfacing work on the A12 southbound junction 27 entry slip road. Once complete, drivers will benefit from the A12 remaining in a safe and serviceable condition. We plan to complete this work over one night on Monday 9 February 2026. We will work between 9pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A12 southbound junction 27 entry slip road and divert traffic as follows:
Head south on Cymbeline way.
- At the roundabout take the second exit on to London Road.
- Continue travelling on London Road until you reach the Tollgate Roundabout, take the third exit.
- Rejoin the A12 junction 26.
