Following the meeting on Monday, DPC have reviewed the outcome of the questionnaire and can confirm that whist the figures reported were accurate an error had been made in reporting a majority vote for Royal Square. There were 40 positive responses, and 44 negative responses. As such DPC will not be pursuing additional lighting on Royal Square. We apologise for this mistake, which will be reported and minuted at the July meeting.
Kier, on behalf of Highways England, will be undertaking carriageway, drainage and geotechnical survey works on the A12 between junction 27 Spring Lane Interchange, Colchester and Langham. It is planned to complete this work over seven weeks, from Monday 10 June, weeknights only, with working hours of 10pm to 5am, weather permitting.
