Starting today, we're introducing a series of measures to help us adhere to government guidance on social distancing.
Here's the detail:
Installing screens at every till. We're working as fast as we can to get these installed, and expect every till to have a screen in the next few weeks.
Reminders in-store to keep your distance. This includes floor signage to help remind everyone to keep 2 metres from each other.
Restricting the number of people who can enter our stores. We're using dedicated queue marshals at our larger stores to help our colleagues to manage this.
We might temporarily close stores when we get a delivery. This will help our team to re-fill the shelves as safely as possible.These are just some of the things we're doing to keep our colleagues and customers safe, so we can keep our stores stocked, staffed and open.
Remember: our colleagues are here to help you. We won't tolerate abuse or anti-social behaviour in our stores.
